At the end of the day, it was down to Adam & Chris, to turn our dream house into a reality. It was such a pleasure working with them at all stages of the construction, from the laying of the foundations right through to the day we finally moved in, back in December 2018!
Although we did have some delays at the beginning with regard to the excavation and building of the basement, the progress once we were out of the ground was amazing. Both Adam, Construction Director at the time, and Chris, our foreman at the time, worked closely with us at all times. They kept us informed at all stages of the build as well as suggesting and implementing many improvements to the original design/plans.
Our house sits well in its plot between two Edwardian villas, the design is modern but not imposing. We are more than happy with the quality of the build, we wanted a house that is airy and light, with clean lines and colours – and thanks to Adam & Chris, we certainly achieved this.
The living space in the house turned out to be bigger than expected and to our delight we ended up having space for a garden, both at the front and the back of the property, including a rear patio with gabion seating, and an outdoor kitchen area. They also made us custom seating & a table for the garden made out of Oak.
Adam & Chris continue to be of service, and we now consider them to be not just the best builders around, but also very good friends. If you want a professional job done to a high standard, then these two guys are the people you need and can trust.

We chose to work with Adam and Chris for the first time on our property in Kent because their business scale and project experience. As the architect and client for this house, our design for a very modern extension on a victorian property had many challenges due to the precision required with a steel frame and full height glazing. Adam and Chris understood these challenges from the outset and managed the complexity of a range of specialist subcontractors by following the design intent very closely as well as working with designers to work through other issues that arose with patience and skill. The completed high spec home is impressive aesthetically and functions exactly as planned including the concrete floor with underfloor heating from the air source heat pump. Working sensitively with the original victorian cottage is key to the dramatic contract of old and new.
Since this first project we have gone back to Adam and Chris to work on three further projects as we have developed a good understanding and mutual trust to achieve the desired result.
